Dear Parents and Students, As you likely know, the school district and community have experienced an unfortunate accident involving students while attending a non-school event. Mrs. Webb, our 7-12 Principal , has done a wonderful job of communicating. She has coordinated additional counselor support for students this week. We have been in close contact with the families who had students who were injured. Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone involved. At this time, we will continue with our P/T Conferences scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday this week. There is a 1:30 dismissal on both conference days. Conferences are 3-7 PM. There is No School on Friday.

In partnership with OPAA we received a grant to purchase an additional refrigeration cooler. We are able to expand our options for healthier snacks for items such as cheese sticks, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and sugar-free drinks. It also allows us to further expand into the "grab and go" area if we feel we should need it, like a specialty salad or sandwich for kids that don't have time to stand in line or want something else.

It's National School Lunch Week, we’re celebrating the power of school lunch! School meals offer students a variety of options that meet federal nutrition standards and play an important role in student health, well-being, and academic success. National School Lunch Week is an opportunity to promote the wonderful benefits of school meal programs and highlight the important role of school nutrition staff.
