3) Sigourney Elementary will host an informational meeting for incoming 4 year old preschool students on April 8, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the Sigourney Elementary PK classroom. If you have a child who will be 4 years old by September 15, 2026, please join us to learn more about our program and to register your child.

The SCSD Board of Education is pleased to announce the hiring of Mr. Nathan Wood, pending final approval actions, as the next Superintendent of the Sigourney Community School District. Mr. Wood will be shared with GPAEA and will officially begin on July 1, 2026.
