Students and staff had a fun day "disguising themselves against drugs" in celebration of Red Ribbon Week.
K-6 students got the opportunity to listen to Sergeant Kyle Green talk during Red Ribbon Week!
Key Club is hosting a FREE Clothing Event on Tuesday from 8 am to 4 pm, Wednesday from 8 am to 7 pm, and Thursday from 8 am to 7 pm in the high school cafeteria. FREE CLOTHES FOR ALL!!!

October 20-24, 2025 is National School Bus Safety Week!
Our bus drivers drive many many miles to get our students safely to and from school and activity events. Let’s make sure we do our part to support safe school transportation!
- Always STOP when a school bus stop-arm is out and the red lights are flashing.
- Watch for children crossing the street near stopped buses.
- Obey speed limits and expect frequent stops during morning and afternoon hours.
- Walk in front of the bus; never walk behind the bus.
- Be sure the bus driver can always see you, and you can see the bus driver.
- Before crossing the street, stop and look left-right-left before crossing.

Respect the “Danger Zone”
The most hazardous area around a school bus is called the “Danger Zone”—the space where children are most difficult for the driver to see:
• 10 feet in front of the bus (where the driver may not see a child)
• 10 feet on either side (blind spots)
• Directly behind the bus
Children and caregivers should stay clear of these areas and wait for the driver’s signal before crossing.
Together, we can make every school day safer.
Slow down. Stay alert. Stop for the bus

To round out our week of Celebrating National School Lunch Week we travel to Italy for some Pizza Con Polpettine, its Italian for meatball. A traditional meat polpette uses ground meat combined with breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, grated cheese, and seasonings such as parsley, oregano, and garlic.
