Dear Parents, weather forecasts continue to show severe weather passing through our area throughout the evening and into the early morning hours.
The District is canceling all after school practices and student activities for today, Tuesday, April 16, 2024. We will maintain a regular dismissal time for students.
NOTE: If severe weather would arrive at or near a dismissal time, all students would remain in the buildings. They would not be released until conditions have improved. If this should ever happen, our staff will remain and assist all students. Parents in vehicles or outside of the buildings would be invited in. School buildings are often the most structurally strong facilities in a community. Thank you for your cooperation and effort to help us keep everyone safe.

SCSD Hard Surface Routes: The district is planning to maintain hard surface routes for buses through Friday, February 2, 2024. While some secondary roads are beginning to improve, many remain in poor condition (single lanes) for buses and heavy vehicles.
