Sigourney CSD will have a 2-hour delay, Tuesday, February 18, 2025. There will be no morning activities and the Elementary Trip to Biz Town will be rescheduled.

We are heartbroken by the passing of Kyle Burk, a junior at Sigourney High School. 
Kyle was a valuable member of the Sigourney Community School District, he brought joy to those around him and will always be a cherished part of our Savage family,  we will miss him dearly. We send our heartfelt sympathies and express our condolences, prayers, and support to the family and friends of Kyle.

Out of respect to the family,  our staff,  and students;
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29 - (REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS)
Students participating in after-school activities will be allowed to depart from practices upon request. 
THURSDAY, JANUARY 30, 2025 - (NO SCHOOL)
This will allow students and staff to attend Kyle’s funeral services. After school activities will be held on Thursday.
FRIDAY, JANUARY 31, 2025 – (REGULAR SCHOOL HOURS)
Additional counseling and support personnel will be on campus for all students and staff.
