Dear Sigourney CSD Community,
I am incredibly excited and honored to be serving as the Superintendent of Sigourney Community School District. As a community member, parent, and proud Sigourney alumnus, I understand the tradition, pride, and commitment to excellence that make Sigourney CSD the school community we are today.
As we begin the 2026–27 school year, my focus as the superintendent of schools will remain firmly on students and their success. As a school district leader, I will prioritize high levels of student learning; removing barriers so our outstanding staff can do their best work; maintaining and making improvements to safe and welcoming schools; and supporting the academic and social well-being of every student are at the highest of levels. As a school district, we will also remain committed to providing a full continuum of opportunities through athletics, activities, fine arts, and other extracurricular programs that allow every student to find a place to collaborate, contribute, problem-solve, and succeed. Academically, we will continue to set high expectations and push ourselves to remain the highest-achieving school district in our area.
As a parent and community member, I look forward to working with all of you to continue to make improvements to our school to ensure our kids have nothing less than our very best.
I look forward to seeing our students, families, staff, and community at Open House on August 24 and welcoming everyone back for the first day of school on August 25. Have a great last few days of summer, and Go Savages.
