The election paperwork and candidate guide for the upcoming November 7, 2023 election are linked below. Election paperwork must be filed with Jessica Meier, Business Manager/Board Secretary. Questions can be submitted via email at jessica.meier@sigourneyschools.com or by phone at 641-622-2025.
Due dates--
Monday, August 28, 2023 -- 1st day paperwork can be filed at Sigourney CSD's district office.
Thursday, September 21, 2023 by 5:00 PM -- Last day to file paperwork at Sigourney CSD's district office.
Candidates need to obtain a minimum of 24 signatures using only the Nomination Petition form. Please do not use any other form. The Auditor's office encourages candidates to obtain more than 24 signatures in case signatures are challenged and subsequently thrown out.

It must be signed in the presence of a Notary Public.
